Garden directors, presidents and CEOs are invited to this dinner and reception a short drive outside downtown Hamilton at the Ancaster Mill.

Ancaster Mill is regarded as a prime example of a traditional Ontario grist mill.  The original mill was built in 1792 but was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1863 – this time in stone – at its current location under a waterfall. Powered by the waterfall and its creek, the mill was worked until progress moved industry south towards Hamilton. Today, renovated and restored, it acts as an evocative reminder of the past.  It features a beautiful natural setting that’s nestled under the Niagara Escarpment, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. Its creek, waterfall, antique artifacts, hand-hewn beams, and artisan metalwork combine with our chef’s innovative taste pairings to create a memorable evening.
